Less paper between the job and the signed note.

Plan the work, record the collection however your drivers work today, and get transfer notes signed without driving back for a signature.

Sample run. All names and numbers are made up.
Jobs and runs
Book collections, group them into runs, and give each run to a driver and a vehicle.
Paper or app, both count
Drivers without a device keep their paper ticket and the office keys it in. Drivers with the Android app, now in final testing, record it on the spot: signatures, photos and all, even with no signal.
Transfer notes signed by link
Send the customer a link to sign. Once signed, the note is frozen with the waste description exactly as agreed.
Find any load
Look up any load and see its whole history: who booked it, who moved it, what it weighed and who signed.
Your own yard too
If you take what you collect back to your own site, the collection and the receipt are one load.
A login for everyone
Every driver and everyone in the office gets their own login, with no charge per user.

When DEFRA's carrier phase arrives

Checked against gov.uk, 23 September 2026

DEFRA plans to require carriers, brokers and dealers to use digital waste tracking from October 2027. That is a stated plan, not yet law, and the date can still move.

Starting now means that when it applies, your loads are already recorded the way the service will expect. We'll follow DEFRA's carrier beta and build to it as it is published, not before.

Paper transfer notes remain valid alongside the service until DEFRA says otherwise.
