Privacy.
Last updated 11 October 2026
This website is built to collect as little as possible. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and loads nothing from other websites. We count visits without identifying anyone, we keep what you send through the contact form so we can reply, and we log requests to keep the site safe from attack.
Who we are
This website, wasteone.uk, is run by Easy2pc Limited ("we"), a company registered inEngland and Wales, company number 05706163, registered officeUnit 5 Cunliffe Drive, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN16 8LD. We are the controller of the personal information described here.
For anything about your personal information, email privacy@wasteone.uk.
This notice covers this website only. If you use WasteOne itself, the service has its own privacy notice, which you will be given before you use it.
What we collect, why, and for how long
If you use the contact form or email us
- What: your name, email address and message, and anything else you choose to give (your business, phone number and the kind of business you run).
- Why: to reply to you. If you ask about using WasteOne, also to talk with you about it. If you join the founding list, also to tell you when sign-up opens. A message sent through the form is e-mailed to us and also kept on our server, so it isn't lost if e-mail fails.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us. Where you are asking about becoming a customer, taking steps at your request before a contract.
- How long: up to 24 months, then deleted automatically, unless it leads to a contract, when the service's own terms apply.
- We don't send automatic replies, and we never add you to a mailing list.
Visitor statistics, without cookies
- What: which pages are visited, the website you came from, your browser, operating system, type of device and country, and which buttons and questions you click. Your country is worked out from your IP address, which is not stored. We can't tell who you are, and we don't follow you to other websites.
- How: with Umami, run on our own server, so the figures are never sent to an analytics company. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. If your browser asks sites not to track you ("Do Not Track"), it records nothing at all.
- Why: to see which pages are useful and improve the site.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, in a way that doesn't identify anyone.
- How long: 26 months, then deleted automatically.
Keeping the site safe
- What: like every website, the server records each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page asked for and your browser's description of itself.
- Why: to keep the site working and to spot and block attacks automatically. An address that attacks the site is blocked for a time.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
- How long: request logs are kept for 14 days, then deleted. A summary (numbers, not visitors' details) goes into a daily report to us.
- We use CrowdSec, run on our own server, to detect attacks. When it blocks an attack, it shares the attacking address, the time and the kind of attack with CrowdSec's community list, run by CrowdSec SAS in France, and receives that list of known attackers in return. Nothing about ordinary visitors is shared.
What we don't do
- We set no cookies and store nothing on your device.
- We use no advertising, tracking pixels, social media plug-ins or third-party analytics.
- We load no fonts, scripts or images from other websites, so they don't learn about your visit.
- We never sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only these companies, acting on our instructions:
- AuthSMTP (GetOnline Ltd, a UK company) sends our email, including the messages from the contact form.
- DigitalOcean hosts this website and everything it keeps, on servers in London.
- CrowdSec, as described above, for the addresses of attackers only.
We will also share information if the law requires it.
Where it is kept
In the UK. This website, the contact form's messages, the visitor statistics and the request logs are all stored on our server in London. On its way to us, email can pass through the network of Cloudflare, which AuthSMTP uses to protect its service; Cloudflare has data centres in the UK, Europe and the US, and doesn't store the messages. If any of this changes, we will make sure your information is protected as UK law requires, and update this notice.
